In early 2019, NOAO invited community members to propose topics for science white papers to be submitted to the 2020 Decadal Survey committee. This coordination hub web site is now inactive but you may browse the submissions.

At the start of each decade, the National Academies organize a community-wide activity to recommend priorities in facility development for the next ten years. Typically, within these decadal surveys, one panel focuses on ground-based OIR development. These reports provide strategic guidance to NOAO’s program and planning.
