Purpose

Introduction. This handbook has three purposes: first, to answer many of the questions that you might have about Kitt Peak; second, to give you some useful information while in Tucson; and third, to summarize what kind of information we need from you for your visit to either location.

An observing run on Kitt Peak or your visit to the Tucson headquarters, is a cooperative venture for you and us. The key to a successful observing run or data reduction visit in Tucson is good communication. If you have further needs or questions, please ask. We want you to have a productive stay at Kitt Peak and in Tucson.

If you have suggestions for improvements, please send your comments to:
