Visit the US-Extremely Large Telescope Program Booth!
The US Extremely Large Telescope Program (US-ELTP) will provide US-based astronomers with nationally funded all-sky observing access to two of the world’s most powerful telescopes, the Giant Magellan Telescope and Thirty Meter Telescope. NSF NOIRLab will facilitate an open peer-review process of observing proposals, archive all data from both observatories, and provide an extensive suite of user support and data analysis services. It takes a wide range of careers and backgrounds to transform our understanding of the Universe through projects such as the US-ELTP. Find more information about how the US-ELTP is shaping the next generation of major ground-based observatories at https://useltp.org.
Visit us at booth 578 to share your vision for the next generation of ground-based telescopes, learn about the Giant Magellan Telescope and Thirty Meter Telescope, and get the chance to win cool prizes!
