ToO Data Files
Data obtained for ToO programs will be transferred to the NOIRLab Astro Data archive and will be processed through the community pipeline as for any other community program. Note that you will only have access to your proprietary data if it has been obtained with the propid of the ToO program.
Typically raw data appears in the NOIRLab Astro Data Archive within a couple of hours of the end of the exposure. Hence all raw data will be accessible through the archive within a couple of hours of the last observation. However, in atypical situations hardware or internet problems may delay data delivery. If quick access to the data is critical for the science then please let us know so that we can implement faster transfer via a dedicated ftp site.
Typically pipeline calibrations are performed on all data from the observing block within which the ToO interrupt was included. Therefore, calibrated data should be available from the NOIRLab Astro Data Archive within a week of the end of the run. If a quicker turnaround, within a few days of the observation, is essential please communicate this and someone from the pipeline team will respond. But please don't request this unless it is really science critical.
It is possible to perform special processing in the pipeline to detect fast moving objects for example to recover near Earth objects. For this observations should consist of 5 to 10 consecutive or interleaved exposures. Please let us know in advance if moving object processing is required for your observations. Note that moving object detection and fast turn-around requests may be combined.
