Gemini Fast Turnaround: March 2024

We are pleased to announce the monthly Call for Proposals for the Gemini Fast Turnaround (FT) Program. The upcoming deadline is 12:00 (noon) Hawai‘i Standard Time on 31 March 2024. Proposals are being accepted for both Gemini North and South. For successful proposals this cycle, observations will be active in the queue May–July 2024. 

Please see the Call for Proposals and the 2024A instrument schedules for the detailed instrument availability. At Gemini North we are offering GMOS-N, GNIRS (including the Low-Resolution IFU), MAROON-X, and `Alopeke. Note that the Gemini IRAF package for the GNIRS Low-Resolution IFU will not be released until sometime in May 2024 but PIs who receive FT data before the release may request a patch package. Please see the call for further details. At Gemini South, we are offering GHOST, GMOS-S, Flamingos 2, and Zorro.
