Project Description: Lowell will be working on a variety of software development projects related to the Observatory Control System (OCS) Upgrades Program. He will start working on a statistical analysis of nightly queue plans as part of developing the scoring algorithm for the GEMMA dynamic queue scheduler. Other projects may include a trade study of alternatives to the current integration time calculators and an analysis of observing conditions and weather patterns.
