The Gem in We: Inclusivity Strategy Workshop with Jocelyn Ferrara
4:15 PM - 5:00 PM (GMT+9)
Let's continue the Gem In We series by going a step beyond the initiating questions asked in Workplace Inclusivity talk given at the 2021 virtual GSM. In order to forge a path ahead to make organizations more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, it is key to establish a strategic plan moving forward, against which to measure progress and pull concrete actions.
The recently released Astro2020 Decadal Survey included significant analysis and recommendations regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within its State of the Profession segment. Using this example as well as the NOIRLab DEI Strategic Plan as examples and references, we will deconstruct the key points to crafting a plan to build DEI infrastructure in an organization.
