Gemini Observatory Science Meeting 2022: Second announcement Abstract Deadline 15 February 2022, Registration & Logistics

The international Gemini Observatory, a Program of NSF's NOIRLab, invites its user community to gather in Seoul, Korea, for a celebration of our continuing mission to provide forefront access to the entire sky, and a preview of the exciting developments to come. Hosted by the partnership's newest member, the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI), this 2022 Science Meeting will feature the latest scientific results from the Gemini community, updates on instrumentation, adaptive optics, and operations developments, and a discussion of Gemini's strategic plans for the coming decade. The meeting will be held immediately before the IAU General Assembly in Korea in August. Come join us in Seoul!
COVID-19 protocols and policy
Gemini Observatory, NOIRLab, and the GSM2022 organizing committees are committed to providing a safe meeting environment for all. We are preparing COVID-19 protocols and will take measures to minimize health risks that may occur during the meeting. Note that both in-person/hybrid and virtual-only meeting plans will be developed simultaneously to enable participants and organizers to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.

Abstract Submission
Abstract submission is open for contributed talks and posters at the link below. The deadline for submission of abstracts of contributed talks is 15 February 2022, and for posters it is 30 June 2022.

Registration
Registration is now open. Registrants will have the option to change from in-person to remote attendance (and vice-versa) until 24 June 2022. The registration pricing schedule is summarized on the following page:
