Update of VM to run Gemini IRAF on an Apple M1

When Apple removed support for 32-bit binaries from MacOS (10.15+), instructions were provided to run Gemini IRAF in a virtual machine using readily available virtualization software (eg., Virtual Box). With the advent of the new Apple M1 chip, options for virtualization software are significantly limited. We have found a solution using Qemu for emulation of the x86 environment. Initial testing with Gemini IRAF has reproduced the expected results and work is ongoing to make it available to users by mid-2022.
