The International Gemini Observatory is hosting a splinter session at AAS 245 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. ET. We will discuss instrument and facility upgrades to enable new synergies with the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) and Habitable Worlds Observatory in areas of research pertaining to exoplanets, galaxy formation and evolution, time-domain and multi-messenger astronomy, and stellar and planet formation.
