Asteroid NEO2008 QT3

Above is a still image from a four-frame animation showing the asteroid moving through the sky. The field is 3 arc minutes on a side (about one tenth the diameter of the full moon). Exposures were two minutes followed by one minute to read out the image, so the entire sequence covers approximately 12 minutes. These images were taken at the 2.1-meter telescope on Kitt Peak.
