M1M3 Preparations for Shipping
The LSST Primary/Tertiary Mirror (M1M3) is being prepared for shipping, which includes a refresh of the mirror's blue Opticoat protective coating. The object above the mirror is the custom vacuum lift, which will be used to safely lift the mirror into its transport container.
