McGraw-Hill 1.3-meter Telescope
The interior of the McGraw-Hill 1.3-meter Telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, Arizona. The installed instrument is the (long retired) photo-electric photometer. The KPNO 2.1-meter Telescope showing through the open dome shutter. The McGraw-Hill 1.3-meter Telescope was closed in 1995 for budgetary reasons and was refurbished in 2001 by a university consortium.
