Secondary Mirror (M2) Coating
The LSST Secondary Mirror (M2) was successfully coated at the LSST summit facility building on Cerro Pachón on July 16, 2019. This is the first LSST glass mirror to be coated, and the results not only met, but exceeded requirements. This video shows the actual coating process through a window in the Coating Chamber.
