Rubin Observatory Alerts Visualization
NSF-DOE Vera C. Rubin Observatory was designed to detect changes in the sky such as a supernova or moving asteroid. When Rubin spots something interesting, it sends alerts to community brokers that can be picked up by other telescopes for follow-up observations, like Gemini or SOAR.
