Coating Chamber Arrives in Chile

The LSST Coating Chamber arrived at the Port of Coquimbo on October 25th, after a ocean voyage that began on September 7th in Antwerp, Belgium. For four days after its arrival, the Coating Chamber was prepared, split into two pieces (top and bottom), and loaded onto the specialized transport vehicles that will carry it to the summit of Cerro Pachón.
