Preparing for restart at Kitt Peak National Observatory

WIYN Engineer Emily Hunting snow cleaning the mirrors of the WIYN 3.5-meter Telescope and instrument ports in preparation for restarting operations. Emily is using a big carbon dioxide tank and a spray nozzle to shoot snow across the mirror surfaces, helping to clean the mirrors without having to touch them.
