Brian Schmidt Nobel talk at UHH

In 2011 Brian Schmidt, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on "the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae," gave a free lecture to the community about his work at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo campus center - Gemini Observatory data was included as part of the discovery and co-hosted the event.
