NGC 6070

This spiral galaxy is located about 100 million lightyears away in the constellation Serpens. Back in 1998, this galaxy made APOD as one of the first-light images collected by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.

This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
