NGC 2170
NGC 2170 is located about 2400 lightyears away in the constellation Monoceros. It is both an emission and reflection nebula, housing hundreds of newborn stars.
This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
