M15

The extremely bright and concentrated globular cluster, M15, is home to a unique planetary nebula called Pease 1. M15 is one of three globular clusters known to harbor a planetary nebula. For comparison, check out the Hubble Space Telescope image of this cluster.

This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
