Small Magellanic Cloud

The Small Magellanic Cloud is an irregular dwarf galaxy in the constellation Tucana, and is a satellite of our own Milky Way Galaxy. The SMC is visible to the naked eye from the southern hemisphere. CTIO 4-meter Blanco telescope image.
