T-ReCS spectrum of the impact streak

T-ReCS spectrum of the impact streak (red points; Orton et al. 2010). The presence of silicates, indicating a rocky body impact, can account for the discrepancy between the observations and a model atmosphere having a standard temperature structure (solid black line).
