Vent Gates Panorama

View through the Gemini North Observatory vent gates. Prominently featured is the actual summit of Mauna Kea with the trail to the Hei‘au visible. In the distance, Mauna Loa rises behind two other observatories; the University of Hawaii 2.2-meter telescope, and the United Kingdom Infra-Red Telescope (UKIRT) on the far right.
