Gemini South NGS-2
Gemini South's NGS2 is a new adaptive optics system that uses an auxiliary guide star in the sky to supplement Gemini's laser artificial star system. NGS2 enables Gemini to achieve sharper images than ever before, rivaling the resolution of space-based telescopes.
