Jupiter and Zodical Light over the WIYN 3.5-meter Telescope

In this image, Jupiter and the faint band of light known as the zodical light can be seen above the WIYN 3.5-meter Telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory. The zodical light consists of interplanetary dust in orbit around the Sun, and is named such as it follows the path of the ecliptic, also known as the zodiac, in the sky.
