Curtis Schmidt Telescope Plaque
The Curtis Schmidt Telescope, located at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile, was previously located at the University of Michigan's Portage Lake Observatory and is named for Heber D. Curtis, who was the director of the University of Michigan Observatories from 1930 to 1942.
