Gemini Mirror at Port of Ogdensburg

The 8-meter primary mirror meant for one of the International Gemini Observatory's twin telescopes is being loaded onto a cargo ship at the Port of Ogdensburg in New York. The mirror is en route to the REOSC polishing facility in France. This image was captured in December 1995.
