Vincicus Placco is an Associate Scientist at NOIRLab/CSDC, working in the US National Gemini Office since September 2020. In this presentation, he will talk about a recently discovered star, which has one of the lowest metal contents of any star ever observed. This star was first identified based on its colors from the S-PLUS survey, then confirmed as chemically peculiar using the Gemini South (in Poor Weather conditions) and Magellan Clay Telescopes.
