Math Moves You is a partnership with NOIRLab, Raytheon and the University of Arizona Office of Early Academic Outreach. Approximately 200 students from Tucson schools build Galileoscopes at the event. Members of Raytheon's Leadership Development Program (LDP) are trained to assist students during the Math Moves You event. At the event students build a Galileoscope, test it, learn to mount it on a tripod and hear a panel discussing science and engineering careers.
