Every year, AstroDay in Hilo features all of the Maunakea Observatories with interactive displays, give-aways and much more. NOIRLab staff can participate by helping in our display and table, interacting with visitors and families or helping to prepare for the event. This year AstroDay Hilo will be held on Saturday 6 May at the Prince Kukio Plaza. Note: there is also an AstroDay in Kona each year in September – watch for details. Both Hawai‘i AstroDays are led by the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawai‘i.
