ʻImiloa Astronomy Center, along with community partners, is hosting the ʻIkuwā Festival on 15-16 October. All NOIRLab staff in Hawai'i are invited to attend this free, 2-day, first of its kind event! Festivities will include live demonstrations, canoes, vendors, oli, storytelling, crafts, live entertainment, games and more. Several NOIRLab staff will be volunteering at this event including Andy Adamson, Brian Lemaux, Daniel Berke, Jameeka Marshall, and Jen Miller. Join us in celebrating the month of ʻIkuwā and the connections between people, communities, and the natural resources and landscapes that we call home!
