The Gemini High-Resolution Spectrograph (GHOST) is expected to make revolutionary advances in our understanding of the chemical compositions of the first stars, characterizing exoplanetary systems, and other broad science goals. It does so by providing sensitive high-resolution spectroscopy over a simultaneous wavelength range between 363 and 950nm.
