Steve B. Howell is currently a senior research scientist at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. He was formerly the head of the Space Science and Astrobiology Division and the project scientist for NASA’s premier exoplanet finding missions: Kepler and K2. Rachel Matson is an astronomer at the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington D.C. where she conducts observations for the Double Star Program and manages the orbit catalog within the Washington Double Star (WDS) database.
