M1M3 Cabinet Delivery to CAID

The System Support Cabinet for the Primary/Tertiary Mirror (M1M3) cell assembly was delivered to vendor CAID Industries on May 18. Inside the cabinet, which was built at Bit By Bit Controls in Tucson, are connections to the electrical power, communications, and sensors required to operate the M1M3 cell assembly. Once the connections between the cabinet and the wiring of the cell are completed, functional testing of M1M3 operating system will begin.
