NGC 5985

NGC 5985 (face-on spiral, upper-right) and NGC 5982 (elliptical) are two of three galaxies in what is sometimes called the Draco Triplet. The three are about 100 million lightyears away from Earth.

This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
