NGC 2392
It is appropriate that this particular nebula is seen high in the sky during the (cold) early evening hours of winter (northern hemisphere). At a distance of around 3000 light-years away this bubble of gas appears very bright in our telescope. With your eyes you can see the central star and surrounding nebulosity easily. More difficult to see is the "fur" of the "parka" that this gentleman wears.
