NGC 1931

This is both an emission and reflection nebula, seen about 7000 lightyears away in the constellation Auriga. It is a summer parallel to the winter Orion Nebula.

This image was taken as part of Advanced Observing Program (AOP) program at Kitt Peak Visitor Center during 2014.
