Makahiki is a cultural season of rebirth and abundance. For Boy Scouts of America the annual Makahiki scout show showcases the local scouting community. To honor Hawaiʻi's famous Eagle Scout, astronaut Ellison Onizuka the event features STEM related activites with guests from the science community. The 2024 Makahiki theme is "Horizons to explore: Grow, Serve, Lead Together."
