IGRINS-2
IGRINS-2 (Immersion GRating INfrared Spectrograph 2) is a facility instrument at Gmini North. It is a high-resolution (R~45,000) near-infrared spectrograph covering the wavelength range of 1.49-1.80μm (H-band) and 1.96-2.46μm (K-band) in a single exposure. More extensive documentation can be found on their overview page.
The first observing block of IGRINS-2 was successfully completed on April 14, 2025 and the reduced data products are available for download via the Gemini Observatory Archive. The data are processed using the dedicated IGRINS Pipeline Package (PLP), developed specifically for IGRINS-2. The primary reference to be cited by users of the IGRINS-2 PLP data is Kaplan, K., Lee, J.-J., Sawczynec, E., Kim, H.-J. 2024, igrins/plp, v3.0.0, Zenodo, doi:10.5281/zenodo.
