Gemini Fast Turnaround: February 2025

We are pleased to announce the monthly Call for Proposals for the Gemini Fast Turnaround (FT) Program. The upcoming deadlines are 12:00 p.m. (noon) Hawai‘i Standard Time on 28 February and 31 March 2025. Proposals are being accepted for both Gemini North and South. For the February deadline, observations will be active in the queue from April to June 2025. For the March deadline, observations will be active in the queue from May to July 2025.

At Gemini North we are offering GMOS-N, which is expected to be available throughout the cycles, along with IGRINS2 in shared-risk mode, GNIRS (including the Low and High-Resolution IFU), MAROON-X, and `Alopeke, which will all be available for periods throughout the cycles. At Gemini South we are offering GHOST, GMOS-S, Flamingos 2, and Zorro. Make sure to check the instrument schedules for detailed availability. Be aware that GNIRS will be unavailable starting in mid-May for refurbishment work and Gemini South will have its annual maintenance shutdown starting in late July.
