The DECam eROSITA Survey (DeROSITAS)
2019-2020:
DeROSITAS is an optical followup survey designed to fill the entire eROSITA-DE sky to griz magnitude of 22.7 (23.5), 23.2 (24.0), 23.3 (24.0), 22.5 (23.2) AB magnitudes at 10(5) sigmas. If those were taken under dark conditions at the zenith (teff =1) the exposure times would be tg = 25s, tr = 75s, ti = 180s, and tz = 170s.
out-of-date (2017):
DeROSITAS is an optical followup survey designed to fill the entire eROSITA-DE sky to griz magnitude of 22.7 (23.5), 23.0 (23.8), 22.4 (23.2), 21.9 (22.7) AB magnitudes at 10(5) sigmas. This is equivalent to tg = 90s, tr = 160s, ti = 110s, and tz = 140s exposure times in grey to bright conditions. If those were taken under dark conditions at the zenith (teff =1) the exposure times would be tg = 25s, tr = 75s, ti = 70s, and tz = 90s.
Here we describe the program progress (coverage and depth). Those plots were created using a (local) search in the DECam database.
The sky (and the current coverage as 20210130) in g,r,i, and z are:
Other Surveys:
Pan-STARR depths: grizy < 23.3, 23.2, 23.1, 22.3, 21.3 (3pi stack 5 sigma)
VST-ATLAS depths are similar to SDSS.
We can cover 1000 deg2 in 2.5n (check out this excel ETC).
