Speakers Announced for the Third International Symposium of Science with the SOAR Telescope

Join us to discuss science with the SOAR Telescope from present day science programs to preparing for the next decade of instruments and science operations. The symposium will take place 13–15 May 2025, simultaneously at INPE in São José dos Campos, Brazil and Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. The deadline to register is 14 April 2025.

We are pleased to announce a limited financial support for Brazilian participants. Priority will be given to registered students and young astronomers presenting talks or posters who don't have other funding sources. (Brazilian participants will receive by email instructions to apply for the support).

There is an updated schedule on the event page (talk times and intervals). Presentation modalities will be evaluated by the SOC as soon as registration finishes. Results will be published on the event page on 21 April.
