Joint Proposal Opportunity for JWST Cycle 2

As part of the JWST Cycle 2 Proposal process (with deadline of 27 January 2023), NOIRLab plans to offer up to 5% of the US share of regular-proposal Gemini time in Semesters 2023B and 2024A for science investigations requiring both JWST and Gemini observations. This allocation makes available up to about six to eight nights of high-priority queue-scheduled time across both Gemini telescopes. All details will be provided in the JWST Cycle 2 Call for Proposals, to be released in November. A preview is provided in the NOIRLab 2023A Call for Proposals, Section 3.12.
