We are tracking refereed publications and Ph.D.s awarded that use SMARTS telescopes and data. There are several things you can do to help continue the success of SMARTS:
1. When appropriate, a reference to SMARTS in the abstracts of papers is appreciated.
2. Please include a reference to SMARTS in your acknowledgements if you used any data from the SMARTS telescopes, such as:
This research has used data from the SMARTS [1.5m/1.3m/1.0m/0.9m] telescope, which is operated as part of the SMARTS Consortium.
3. Investigators who obtained time through NOIRLabshould also use the usual NOIRLab acknowledgement.
4. Please notify the SMARTS Principal Scientist (as of August 2020, Todd Henry) of your publication or the successful completion of Ph.D. work by graduate students, with the student's name, dissertation title, and date of Ph.D.
