NGC 1193 in Perseus

Composite image of the old open cluster NGC1193 obtained with the WIYN Tip-Tilt Module (WTTM) in the B, V and I pass-bands. Despite being a combination of four exposures of 450s (B), four of 300s (V), and nine of 180s (I), the final corrected "seeing" in this image is 0.5 arc seconds (FWHM). See the article about the completion of commissioning of the WTTM from the March 2004 NOAO Newsletter (currently only available in PDF format).
