Brewing Galaxy Clusters at z > 1.35 : The SpARCS BEERGLASS Survey

In order to understand how environmental effects on galaxy evolution began, we must follow these environments throughout all stages of formation. The SpARCS BEERGLASS survey explores the spectroscopic and photometric properties of Stellar Bump Sequence (SBS)-selected cluster galaxies at z > 1.35. Five young clusters in four southern fields, with redshifts 1.38 < z < 1.63, already have extensive ground-based photometry and spectroscopy. Preliminary analysis shows red sequences in early stages of formation, and UVJ-based star-forming fractions similar to the field but slightly redder in V-J.
