Keiki and their families are invited to reach for the stars at the AstroDay celebration, Sunday, November 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Kona Commons Shopping Center in Kailua-Kona. Organized by the Mauna Kea Astronomy Outreach Committee (MKAOC), this free, open-air event is an entertaining and star-studded opportunity for the community to learn about the science of astronomy and the incredible discoveries being made by the telescopes on Maunakea.The Maunakea Observatories and other science-based and community organizations will offercolorful and informative “contact-less” science exhibitions and as well as free science kits to take home while supplies last.
