Stars and the Milky Way Wheel over the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope

Stars and the Milky Way rotate in this timelapse video captured at the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope at Kitt Peak National Observatory. At one point the largest solar telescope in the world, the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope was decommissioned in 2017 and is being converted to the NOIRLab Windows on the Universe Center for Astronomy Outreach.
